What GatiNav does,

Available today

Key features.

Everything here is in the product today, and in the demo.

Decide

Ranked decisions each morning, sized in dollars from your own data. Explain, simulate, choose one of three options, and keep a frozen report with follow-up actions.

Decision reports

Every decision is kept as a print-ready report: the situation, the option chosen, the projected impact and the assumptions. Its actions are ticked off by their owners.

Light and dark

The app follows your device: dark on the night shift, light in a bright office. One tap to switch, remembered per device.

Safety rules in the database

A failed pre-shift inspection locks the unit out. No valid certificate, no driving. Serious racking damage blocks the bay. No screen, handheld or import can skip it.

One workforce record

Every scan, inspection and incident names a real employee. Certificates warn before they expire; the monitoring policy tracks who has acknowledged it.

Yard and gate

Contractors are checked at the gate against the documents you require. Stalls and dock doors on one map.

Inventory you can trust

An append-only stock ledger: movements are never edited or deleted. Each client sees only their own stock in the client portal.

Inbound and ASNs

Advance shipping notices by EDI 856, API or spreadsheet. Receipts are matched to them automatically as you scan.

Billing and invoices

Storage and activity priced per client, monthly invoices with HST, numbered without gaps and never deleted.

Floor scanner

Pre-shift checklists and scans on a phone or tablet, with the camera as the barcode reader.

Data sync

Bring in staff, certificates, SKUs, stock, equipment, contractors and more: upload, paste, an import API or a watched folder.

Incident reporting

Anyone reports a near miss from the floor in seconds. Safety investigates; an incident closes only when every corrective action is done.

Email alerts

Lockouts and serious incidents right away; each morning, what is running out, overdue or locked out, shaped for each role.

Works on weak Wi-Fi

Scans wait on the device and go when the signal is back, keeping their time. Counted once; every rule still checked.

Equipment register

Every forklift, reach truck and lift with its status, ownership, lease and service dates. Onboard new units and retire old ones.

Users and sites

Administrators set up warehouses, racking, dock doors and yard stalls, and add logins with temporary passwords.

Customize

Your equipment types and checklists, certificates, job titles, departments, contractor requirements and yard stall types.

Security built in

Sign-in with Microsoft or Google, two-factor sign-in, each customer isolated by the database, a tamper-evident audit history, encrypted off-site backups restored and checked monthly.

Coming next

Upcoming releases.

What we are planning. The order and timing may change as we learn from customers; tell us what matters most to you.

Planned

Rules beyond Ontario

Certificate types, checklists, tax and labour defaults for other provinces, then US states.

Planned

Contractor documents in the app

Record and renew a contractor's documents from their page, not only by import.

Planned

Floor scanner that opens offline

Start the scanner with no signal at all, not just keep scanning when it drops.

Planned

Text message alerts

Lockouts and serious incidents by text message, as well as email.

  • A frozen decision report with follow-up actions, emailed to each action's owner
  • Assumptions you set (idle equipment cost, labour cost, detention charge, free time) and a dashboard summary
  • Light and dark themes in the app and on the website, following your device

Report, investigate, get told
